KANDEER GETS A TASTE OF WONGA
Cup of tea time!

 

The group had an introduction to Wonga in the classroom and then walked out to the Cascade on Lagoon 1 to observe some of the birds and trees.

Some of the types of birds seen were Wongas, Wood Ducks, Coots, Black Swans, Pelicans and Black Ducks. We were also able to identify two of the frogs that were calling as the Spotted Marsh Frog and the Common Froglet.

The next visit to Wonga will include an aboriginal art lesson and some “bug” collecting and identification.
