Common Water Milfoil

One of about 30 species of Myriophyllum in Australia, the Common Water Milfoil can grow in water more than 1m deep.

With feathery foliage both above and beneath the water's surface, this perennial plant has trailing stems which root at the nodes.

Flowers are inconspicuous and occur in the leaf axils.
