Sometimes called the Eastern Froglet, the Common Froglet can be found in almost any habitat in southern Australia.
Growing to between 25-35mm, there are so many similar species that the call of the male is the only reliable identifier.
They breed in slow-flowing water, attaching their egg mass to debris.
