The Pobblebonk or Banjo Frog is a common burrowing frog, found throughout southern Australia.
Adults range in size from 8-12cm, and live in most habitats - except very arid, alpine or rainforest areas.
Not to be confused with the Great Bullfrog, the Pobblebonk has a mottled belly whereas the bullfrog has a yellow-orange belly.
Breeding takes place from August to April, with their tadpoles found in still waters.
