The group was divided into 5 teams and investigated Bagnall's Range Lagoon to decide how important the riparian vegetation is to the macroinvertebrates and zooplankton that inhabit their site or “section” of this anabranch. Time was taken to visit the “gravel pits” to see the launch of the BioSUB project
( groups.msn.com/TheBioSUBProject ) with local biologist Lloyd Godson.

For the Thursday Presentations , each group explained what they had discovered about their site, Wonga Wetlands in general and how the Bagnall's Range Lagoon ecosystem fitted together. The quality of the Presentations was great and the Deputy Mayor Kevan Porter, when presenting the certificates, commented an how much Albury City valued Wonga Wetlands and the education programmes carried out here. All participants (including the Mentors who did a terrific job) will receive a DVD of the Summer School’s activities when they return to school next year.
