Visiting
Wonga Wetlands is a five minute drive from the centre of Albury along the Riverina Highway (Howlong/Corowa Road).

Public access to Wonga Wetlands and The Aquatic Environment Education Centre is through the Riverina Highway gates and carpark. The Wetlands are open dawn to dusk and there is a pedestrian gate adjacent to the main gate for out of business hours visits. THE CARPARK CLOSES AT 4:30 pm.

If driving, the journey is approximately 3.5 hours from either Canberra or Melbourne, while Sydney is 7 hours away.

The Albury region is readily accessible with multiple air, rail and coach services operating daily from around Australia.

• Suitable footwear is essential at all times, particularly in warmer months
