The Wonga Wetlands Community Advisory Committee was established to provide AlburyCity Council with direction in the development of the community asset.

There is a Technical Sub-Committee comprised of Roger Croome, Iain Taylor, Ben Wilson, John Hawkins which assess requests to carry out research and monitor developments throughout the Wetlands to try to maintain ecological integrity.

The Wonga Wetlands Community Advisory Committee meets bi-monthly in order to maintain the pace and focus of Wonga Wetlands and The Aquatic Environment Education Centre. The Committee is chaired by Col Johnson, assisted by Karen McIntyre.
The Committee has developed a Management Plan for Wonga Wetlands details of which can be obtained from Col Johnson on 0260238170.
The day to day management of the Wetlands and The Aquatic Environment Education Centre programmes are under the direction of John Hawkins.
